Pawanjit Suhan

Associate Lawyer

Pawanjit Suhan is an Associate Lawyer with a strong academic foundation and a demonstrated commitment to advancing immigrant rights. She completed a Specialist in Criminology at the University of Toronto, along with a double minor in Forensic Science and Ethics, Society and Law, where she developed a strong interest in addressing systemic barriers and advocating for marginalized communities.  Pawanjit earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa and was called to the Bar of Ontario in June 2024. She first joined Salahshoor Law Professional Corporation as an articling student in Summer 2023 and has since continued her practice with the firm as an Associate Lawyer.  Raised in a Punjabi-Sikh household, Pawanjit brings a meaningful appreciation for cultural diversity and the lived experiences of minority communities. Outside of her legal practice, Pawanjit enjoys hiking and travelling, and values opportunities to experience new cultures. Pawan is fluent in Punjabi.
